have you ever looked at the Star of
David and wondered where did this
actually come from is it really from
King David's time or could it have a
much darker and hidden origin what if I
told you this symbol so deeply tied to
faith identity and history doesn't
appear anywhere in the Bible and what
about the so-called seal of Solomon the
ring said to give Solomon power over
spirits is it biblical or is it part of
something else entirely and then there's
the star of Refen mentioned in scripture
as a symbol of idolatry and rebellion
against God could there be a connection
stay with me because in this video we're
going to pull back the curtain on the
true origins of the Star of David the
legends surrounding the seal of Solomon
and the biblical warning tied to the
Star of Remnen this isn't just history
this is prophecy this is scripture this
is something every believer needs to
hear so grab your Bible maybe even a
notebook because what you're about to
discover could change the way you see
one of the most iconic religious symbols
in the world let's dive in let me ask
you something when you see the Star of
David what comes to mind for most of us
it instantly means Judaism Israel maybe
even King David himself but here's a
question we rarely stop to ask is the
star of David actually in the Bible is
there a single verse in the Old
Testament or New where this six-pointed
star is mentioned was it something David
ever used designed or even endorsed the
answer might surprise you the Bible is
completely silent on this symbol not a
single verse calls it the Star of David
not a single chapter connects this shape
to David's throne battles or covenant
with God so where did it come from why
is it now engraved on everything from
synagogues and tombstones to the very
flag of Israel well historians tell us
this symbol didn't rise to prominence
during biblical times instead it gained
popularity centuries later during the
Middle Ages often appearing in Jewish
mysticism manuscripts and even as a
decorative motif but its rise wasn't
tied to any prophet or divine vision it
was gradual cultural and later became
the official symbol of the Zionist
movement in the late 19th and 20th
centuries but here's where it gets
interesting and unsettling long before
it became associated with Judaism this
same six-pointed star showed up in other
cultures with very different meanings
and some of those meanings well let's
just say they weren't so holy now let's
shift to something a bit more mystical
have you ever heard of the seal of
Solomon it's one of the most fascinating
and controversial legends tied to King
Solomon the story goes like this king
Solomon known for his unmatched wisdom
was given a magical ring engraved with a
powerful symbol often described as a
six-pointed star this ring supposedly
gave him the ability to control demons
speak to animals and even command
spirits sounds like something out of a
fantasy movie right but here's the big
question is any of that in the Bible
let's see what scripture actually says
yes the Bible tells us Solomon was
incredibly wise and then God gave
Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great
understanding and largeness of heart
like the sand on the seashore first
4:29 but as for magical rings and
mystical powers over spirits that's
nowhere to be found in the Bible so
where did the story come from historians
trace the seal of Solomon to medieval
Jewish folklore Islamic writings and
later occult traditions some
cababalistic texts claimed Solomon used
his ring to summon and command
supernatural beings and over time the
hexog became associated with that
supposed ring in Islamic tradition the
ring was even said to bear the name of
God giving Solomon dominion over the jin
but none of this is rooted in biblical
history the connection between Solomon
and the hexog emerged long after his
time and mostly in mystical magical and
esoteric writings so here's a serious
thought to ponder could it be that the
hexog long before becoming the star of
David was already seen as a symbol of
power and sorcery and if so how did that
symbol work its way into sacred identity
we're only scratching the surface but
things are about to get even deeper and
even more biblical as we explore the
star of Remnen a symbol directly
mentioned in scripture and not in a good
way all right now it's time to talk
about a symbol that is mentioned in the
Bible and not in a positive light have
you ever heard of the star of Remnen
this isn't some fringe theory or obscure
reference it's right there in the New
Testament tied to idolatry rebellion and
the worship of false gods take a look at
yay ye took up the tabernacle of Moolok
and the star of your God Refen figures
which ye made to worship them and I will
carry you away beyond Babylon that's not
just history that's a direct quote from
the speech of Steven the first Christian
martyr as he confronts the religious
leaders of his day he's calling them out
for what holding on to idols even while
claiming to follow God and here's where
it gets really deep steven is quoting
from the Old Testament from the book of
Amos amos 5:26 says "You shall take up
Sik your king and Kun your star god your
images that you made for yourselves."
Kun is another name for Reman or Refan
depending on the translation scholars
link this name to an ancient
Mesopotamian deity associated with the
planet Saturn and guess what the symbol
of Saturn was in many ancient religions
a six-pointed star yes the very same
geometric shape we now call the Star of
David let that sink in for a moment the
Bible is warning us about a time when
the Israelites took up a star-shaped
symbol tied to a false god and worshiped
it as part of apostate religion not
commanded by God not blessed not holy so
here's the million-doll question could
the symbol that eventually became known
as the star of David have originally
been the star of Reman now that doesn't
mean every use of the symbol today is
intentionally rebellious but it does
raise an important spiritual question
are there things even sacredlooking
things that we've embraced culturally
but never truly tested biblically it's a
question every believer should be asking
because next we're going to explore how
God responded to this kind of symbol
worship and what he still says today
about mixing truth with error let's take
a step back for a moment what happens
when God's people start mixing truth
with error when they cling to symbols
customs or images that have nothing to
do with God or worse come from the
worship of false gods this isn't a new
issue in fact it's one of the oldest
struggles in the Bible deuteronomy 4:1
19 warns us plainly "Beware lest you
raise your eyes to heaven and when you
see the sun and the moon and the stars
you be drawn away and bow down to them
and serve them." Sound familiar god
wasn't just talking about obvious pagan
temples he was warning his people not to
even be seduced by the symbols of those
systems ezekiel 8 paints a devastating
picture in verse 16 the prophet is given
a vision about 25 men their backs to the
temple of the Lord their faces toward
the east worshiping the sun toward the
east imagine that inside the temple the
place meant for worshiping Yahweh the
leaders had turned their backs on him to
worship the sun that's idolatry wrapped
in religious practice it looks holy on
the outside but inside it's compromise
could we be doing the same thing today
could we be embracing things symbols
signs even spiritual language that
actually grieve the heart of God simply
because we never stop to ask where did
this come from and is this from God or
just from tradition hosea 4:6 makes it
plain and my people are destroyed for
lack of knowledge god isn't just calling
us to avoid evil he's calling us to walk
in truth so the issue here isn't whether
a star on a flag is automatically evil
the issue is discernment god wants his
people to worship him in spirit and in
truth john 4:4 that means we don't just
accept something because it's popular or
because it feels spiritual we test it 1
Thessalonians 5:21 says "Test all things
hold fast what is good." And if we find
something doesn't align with God's truth
no matter how cherished it is no matter
how ancient we let it go because nothing
not even a sacredlooking star is worth
compromising our worship of the one true
God so now that we've peeled back the
layers now that we've seen that the
so-called Star of David isn't found in
the Bible that the seal of Solomon is
rooted in mystical legends and that the
Star of Remnen was a forbidden symbol
tied to idol worship we've got to ask
the question what do we do with all of
this is this just interesting trivia or
is God trying to tell us something
deeper let me be clear this isn't about
attacking people who use the symbol
today it's not about judgment or
conspiracies it's about one simple but
powerful word discernment remember what
the Bible says in Proverbs 4:7 wisdom is
the principle thing therefore get wisdom
and with all thy getting get
understanding understanding matters
because when we understand where things
come from when we test what we've
accepted we can realign our hearts and
our worship back to the truth here's
something to think about when Jesus
returns will he be looking for symbols
or will he be looking for hearts that
are loyal pure and undivided in John
4:4 Jesus said "God is spirit and those
who worship him must worship in spirit
and truth." That's the kind of worship
God desires not based on cultural icons
not rooted in mystical traditions but
grounded in the word of God so if you've
been wearing or displaying the hexog
thinking it was from David it's okay now
you know but now that you know what will
you do jesus said in John 8:32 "And you
shall know the truth and the truth shall
make you free free from deception free
from inherited traditions free to
worship God without mixture so let's be
people of the word let's test everything
let's worship God in spirit and in truth
and let's be brave enough to walk away
from anything that doesn't line up with
his will because when truth is revealed
it's not meant to just inform us it's
meant to transform us so what do you
think was the Star of David always part
of God's plan or did we just assume it
was because everyone else did does the
seal of Solomon represent divine
authority or was it a mystical myth
wrapped in tradition and the star of
Refan could that warning from scripture
still apply today in ways we never even
noticed i'd love to hear your thoughts
drop a comment below and let's talk
about it let's learn from one another
and most importantly let's go back to
the word of God because if there's one
thing this journey has shown us it's
this symbols may come and go traditions
may shift but God's truth never changes
