Okupowany przez modernistów Watykan kończy z tolerancją wobec prawdziwej Mszy Refleksje nad tzw. motu proprio "Traditionis custodes" (1)

Anyone who wished to notice saw the forecast of misfortune. The Modernists, residing in the Vatican since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII, do not care about the Latin Tridentine Mass. It is disgusting to them. Soon after the end of  Vatican II , Paul VI imposed the "New Order" of Mass on the faithful, much to the dismay of the millions of devout Catholics who saw it for what it was - a Protestant "Lord's Supper" service.

Even an outstanding theological study - known as "The Ottavian Intervention" - was unable to stop Paul VI from intending to replace the Tridentine Mass with his  Novus Ordo Missae . Cardinal Ottaviani noted that the new Mass was completely devoid of any reference to the Mass as a sin offering. Indeed, according to this distinguished cardinal, the  Novus Ordo Missae  "both in its entirety and in detail represent a striking departure from the Catholic theology of the Mass as formulated at the XXII session of the Council of Trent."

Before I list the general information contained in the Francis-Bergoglio  Traditionis custodes  of July 16, 2021 - invalidating the motu proprio of Benedict XVI  Summorum Pontificum  of 2007 - I would like to briefly summarize the history of implementing the  Novus Ordo  over the last 50 years. First, the  Novus Ordo Missae  was promulgated by Paul VI in 1969 and became effective in 1970, replacing the venerable Latin Mass of the Holy Sacrifice known as the Tridentine Mass.

Then, in 1971, Paul VI issued an instruction authorizing elderly and infirm priests, with the consent of their bishops, to say the Tridentine Mass, provided that it was without the participation of the faithful. In this permission it is easy to see the usual tolerance of the real Mass. by senior priests who will soon die anyway. The fact that the faithful were not allowed to attend these Masses was a cruel rebuke to the traditionalist-minded believers who wanted the real Mass again. Then, in an audience in 1976, Paul VI made his intentions very clear: "The adoption of the new  Ordo Missae it is certainly not left to the free choice of priests or faithful ... the new Order was promulgated to take the place of the old one, after mature reflection, as demanded by the Second Vatican Council. "The attitude and behavior of Paul VI clearly indicate that he desired the Tridentine Mass went down in history and completely stopped being celebrated.

Then, in 1988, Archbishop Lefebvre announced his intention to ordain four priests from his fraternity as bishops. To dissuade him from this step, John Paul II sent "Cardinal" Joseph Ratzinger to meet with Archbishop. Lefebvre at his seminary in Switzerland. And although the archbishop initially agreed to renounce the intended consecration - by signing a memorandum of understanding on May 5 - the next morning he withdrew his consent and continued his efforts to consecrate the bishops. Following his consecration, John Paul II immediately excommunicated Archbishop Lefebvre and the bishops he had consecrated.

It was the action of their "pope" that prompted a group of priests from the Society of St. Pius X to break with the brotherhood. They asked John Paul II if he would allow them to have their own fraternity, under his supposed authority, with permission to celebrate the traditional Latin Mass. In this way, John Paul II created the Society of St. Peter, trying to keep in the conciliar church those Catholics who wanted the traditional liturgy. Several other smaller groups, also within the structure of the Conciliar Church, have also obtained permission to say the Latin Mass.

Now let's jump quickly to 2005. The aforementioned Joseph Ratzinger was elected the successor of John Paul II, taking the name of "Pope" Benedict XVI. Ratzinger always regretted that he had failed to reconcile with Archbishop Lefebvre and his brotherhood. Accordingly, on July 7, 2007, he issued the motu proprio  Summorum Pontificum , which allowed any priest to say the Tridentine Mass, even without the consent of the local bishop. This document caused such consternation among the Novus Ordo bishops that soon after him Benedict XVI wrote to them explaining the reasons for granting this permission. It was clear from his letter that it was primarily an attempt to encourage SSPX members to return to full communion with the Conciliar Church.

Many semi-traditionalists considered this to be a great turn of events, a kind of triumph, answer to prayer, etc. In contrast, we - who had long ago concluded that the Holy See was vacant - had a completely different view of  Summorum Pontificum . First, Benedict XVI put forward the absurd thesis that the Novus Ordo and the Tridentine Mass are actually the same rite! He declared the Novus Ordo Missae to be  the ordinary form of the  Roman Rite, while the Tridentine Mass is  the extraordinary form (thus relegating the real Mass to the "adoptive sister" of the disgusting Novus Ordo). He also stated that no one could use the permission granted in this document if he contested the legitimacy of the Second Vatican Council or the Novus Ordo. Moreover, this approval to celebrate the Tridentine Mass was another futile effort on his part to establish a "hermeneutic of continuity" - an attempt to prove that the  Vatican II Conciliar Church was in fact a continuation of the pre- Vatican II  Catholic Church  .

Now even this tolerance for the Tridentine Mass in the Conciliar Church has been shattered by Francis-Bergoglio with a stroke of the pen. By issuing his motu proprio  Traditionis custodes  on July 16, Bergoglio completely nullified the effects  of Summorum Pontificum . This was certainly no surprise. During his eight-and-a-half-year "pontificate", Francis-Bergoglio showed many signs of his contempt for the traditional liturgy of the Catholic Church. In fact, it was only a matter of time. One of the two had to be removed. A real Mass, celebrated under the auspices of the Conciliar Church, was just as inappropriate as a Catholic priest wanting to say a real Mass in Cranmer's time in England during the Reformation. It could no longer be tolerated.

So what exactly does this document contain? Here is a quick summary of the main points in the Novus Ordo Watch article on this topic  :

  • There is no longer any ordinary or extraordinary form - the Novus Ordo Missae of Paul VI is "the only expression  of the lex orandi  of the Roman Rite."
  • Only a diocesan bishop can regulate the liturgical celebrations in his diocese.
  • The diocesan bishop is responsible for determining whether any group of the Latin Mass in his diocese is in conflict with the validity or legality of the Novus Ordo Missae.
  • The diocesan bishop designates specific places where the participants of the Latin Mass can gather for the "Eucharistic celebration" - it cannot take place in "parish churches" and new "personal parishes" cannot be established.
  • In these places, the diocesan bishop should establish specific days on which the traditional Latin Mass may be celebrated.
  • When it is celebrated, the readings (Epistle, Gospel) of the Latin Mass must be read in the local language (ie, English, Italian, etc.) in a translation approved for liturgical use by the relevant episcopal conference.
  • The diocesan bishop should designate an appropriate priest who is entrusted not only with the celebration of Holy Mass. traditional, but also pastoral care for the faithful who participate in it. He should be "animated by a living pastoral love and a sense of ecclesial communion" and should surround these people with spiritual care.
  • No new communities or groups of the Latin Mass are to be founded.
  • Priests who wish to celebrate the Traditional Mass after the publication of this document must seek permission from their bishop, who must first consult the Holy See before giving it.
  • Priests who are currently using the 1962 Missal must seek permission from the local bishop to continue the practice.
  • Anything that contradicts this new Motu Proprio, Francis hereby repeals, regardless of the importance of these earlier ordinances.
  • The new document takes effect immediately.

One can only imagine the consternation of those semi-traditionalists who want "to eat and have a cookie at the same time." In other words, they want the Latin Tridentine Mass (which is the legacy of the true Catholic Church) while remaining part of the Conciliar Church with its false popes and Protestant liturgy. How ironic is the title of Francis-Bergoglio's journal. Traditionis custodes  translates as "keepers of tradition"! What an insult to pretend to be faithful to tradition while trying to destroy the true Mass. What a mockery!

Let us pray that this pseudo-Apostolic letter from Antipope Francis-Bergoglio will finally lead those who cultivate a love of the true Holy Mass to recognize this false Church of  Vatican II  as it is. It is not the same Church that was shared by the apostles, saints and martyrs our forefathers. Let us remain, like them, always faithful to the faith of our Fathers, to the faith that contains and protects the holy sacrifice of the Mass.
