It is with deep sadness and justified anger that we must report that Facebook has now unpublished some of the largest alternative media pages around! Included in this Orwellian information purge are Press For Truth, The Anti-Media, and The Free Thought Project just to name a few in a move that took down 599 pages and 251 accounts. We have had a close working relationship with many of these organizations.
We warned that this was coming long before Alex Jones and Infowars were de-platformed, and it appears we will no doubt be next in line. This is why it is more important than ever before for you to directly connect with us through our website, newsletter, and emails. I want to personally thank all of those who have already taken these actions in order to combat our obvious censorship! Now we are asking you to take action by sharing our content with family and friends like never before while expressing your outrage to not only the social media giants themselves but your local and federal legislators.
With Facebook officially releasing this statement which includes this quote...
"This year, we’ve enforced this policy against many Pages, Groups and accounts created to stir up political debate, including in the US, the Middle East, Russia and the UK. But the bulk of the inauthentic activity we see on Facebook is spam that’s typically motivated by money, not politics."
The future looks darker than ever in regards to utilizing that platform.
