B.Chapski: Anti-Majority Censorship in the USA
The brief book review below was not allowed by Amazon. See if you can find a line in the three pages that deserves to be censored. There is not a drop of malice. The censorship speaks volumes. Many well meaning scholars, intellectuals and house wives are finding non-offensive commentary censored by those with a political agenda. This not only is analogous to Soviet policy, it verifies what anti-majority influence can accomplish regarding non-hateful well meaning freedoms, such as free speech. Enjoy and pass on.

I have been reading books for over half a century. I'm what they call a book lover. Generally interest is in PoliSci, psychology, censorship, history and conflict. This book was purchased because it was alleged that the author asserted trust is most advanced by those having similarities. So, what was the big deal? People wrote as if his hypothesis on common sense was something ground shattering. Having resided in the Worker’s Paradise, his “common sense” baffled my curiosity.
The book is 540 pages and the author, Prof. Robert Putnam, is a professor. The cover notes the book was a best seller. That astounded me. I absolutely can't understand it.
